Organized in 1988 by a small group with a big vision.
A handful of Ohio State alumni in Naples set out to extend the spirit of the university to hundreds of Buckeyes in the Greater Naples area, with social activities and, from the very beginning, scholarships for local students headed to Columbus.
Nearly four decades later, the Ohio State Alumni Club of Naples is an officially chartered club, has been recognized repeatedly as an Outstanding Club by the Ohio State University Alumni Association, and holds the largest scholarship endowment of any alumni club in the country.
Events for socializing, networking and fundraising are scheduled every month, so Naples Buckeyes can build on friendships begun years ago and start new ones.
To promote The Ohio State University among Buckeye alumni, fans and friends in the Greater Naples area through social activities, networking, OSU events and game watches, while supporting our community and providing eligible Collier County students with scholarships to attend Ohio State.
