Allie Lile A

Linden “Allie” Lile is a 2017 graduate of Naples High School. Allie’s GPA was 4.8 and her class rank was 47 out of 385 students. She was involved in numerous student government and leadership activities at NHS as well as being a cheerleader for several varsity sports. She volunteered for a variety of organizations in the area. Allie is the daughter of Laird and Laurie Lile.

Allie says she always wanted to be a Buckeye as her family “bleeds Scarlet and Gray”. She has many family members who attended The Ohio State University and has been to The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Naples dinners and met Kirk Herbstreit, Gordon Gee and Archie Griffin.

Allie is committed to becoming an elementary school teacher, which will provide her the chance to touch the lives of children, helping them learn and to become successful. As a member of Florida Future Educators of America and a student in the Naples High Teaching Academy, she had the opportunity to work with elementary school students through observations, teach students in the Little Eagles Preschool and work with special needs students during Project Unify Field Day. Allie is very thankful for the financial assistance and support from the Naples Buckeyes to help her fulfill her goals.  Allie's OSU e-mail is lile.12@buckeyemail.osu.edu.

Peyton Batiato copy

Peyton Batiato is a graduate of Gulf Coast High School where she had a class rank of 31 out of 495 and a GPA of 5.05. Peyton was a cheerleader for 4 years at Gulf Coast and on the National Honor Society for 2 years. She was involved in multiple and diverse other activities in and out of school as well and volunteered extensively. Her parents are David and Jen Batiato.

The Ohio State University was always Peyton’s first choice for college, but that wasn’t always the case. She toured the university the summer prior to her senior year merely to appease my mother, who was raised a devout Buckeye, and grandfather, an OSU alum.   She fell in love with the campus, buildings, and the city of Columbus. Peyton says, “I am motivated and blessed to have done well and achieved a lot in school, but I am just as determined outside the classroom. I know that Ohio State will provide me the opportunities to achieve this. I am thankful for the scholarship opportunity that the Naples Buckeyes have given me to achieve my dream.”
